Lower James River DFLO JMSPH (Lower James River DFLO) - The initial cruise took place in March 2005. Cruises were completed monthly from March to November 2005, March to November 2006, March to November 2007, and March to November 2008 . Cruises have been scheduled for 2009. Data will be posted as it becomes available. This segment is monitored by the Hampton Roads Sanitation District (Virginia Beach, VA) under the management of Mr. Will Hunley.

JMS002.55 CMON JMS002.55 (Wythe Point CMON) - This VADEQ funded station was established on February 28, 2006. Data was collected at 15 minute intervals from February 28 to December 12, 2006, February 28 to December 3, 2007, and February 29 to December 1, 2008. No further deployments are scheduled for this station.

JMSPH (>18ppt) James River Polyhaline

The James River Polyhaline segment extends across the mouth of the river adjoining the main stem Bay. The lower boundary extends from just north of Old Point Comfort on the north shore, to the end of Willoughby Spit on the south shore. It adjoins the mouth of the Elizabeth River on the south shore. The segment extends up river to a boundary extending from Newport News Point just south of Lincoln Park on the north shore to the US Army Disposal Area at Craney Island on the south shore. The upper boundary is approximately in the area of the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel. There is one continuous monitoring station in this segment located on the northern shore at Wythe Point. This station became active on February 28, 2006. Total area: 29.56 square miles
