Middle James River DFLO JMSMH (Middle James River DFLO) - The initial cruise took place on March 2005. Cruises were completed monthly from March to October 2005, March to October 2006, March to October 2007, and March to October 2008. Cruises have been scheduled for 2009. Data will be posted as it becomes available. This segment is monitored by the Hampton Roads Sanitation District (Virginia Beach, VA) under the management of Mr. Will Hunley.

JMS018.23 CMON JMS018.23 (James River Country Club CMON) - This VADEQ funded station was established on March 28, 2006. Data was collected at 15 minute intervals from March 28 to December 4, 2006, April 1 to November 1, 2007, and March 27, 2008 to November 5, 2008. No further deployments are scheduled for this station.

JMSMH (5 – 18 ppt) James River Mesohaline

The James River Mesohaline segment begins at the boundary of the polyhaline segment extending from Newport News Point just south of Lincoln Park on the north shore to the US Army Disposal Area at Craney Island on the south shore. It extends upriver to near Carter’s Grove Home, about 1.25 miles southeast of Grove Creek on the north shoreline to 0.7 miles north of Hunnicut Creek, south of Hog Island on the southern shoreline. This segment includes the Warwick, Pagan, and Nanesmond Rivers as well as Mulberry Island. There is one continuous monitoring station in this segment located on the northern shore at the James River Country Club. This station became active on March 28, 2006. Total area: 117.47 square miles
