General I'm considering moving to the Northern Neck and would like to be somewhere that I can start oyster farming for recreational purposes. So, I put it to the board- what is the best spot for oyster growing in the Northern Neck? I'd love to see some sort of 'top 10' list of sorts. Dec 1, 2006

Rappahannock River My pier is located near the mouth of Hoskins Creek and I wondered if the salinity of this location would be conducive to oyster growing. Thanks. Jul 31, 2006

Blackwater Creek, Mathews Cty,Va. I would like to hear from any one with a long term successfull method of Taylor float leak repair. I had one of my floats secured too close to a pier piling and the result was an abrasion caused by wave action that eventually became a leak. I now have two places on the float in need of repair. One place is at the site of the abrasion and the other is an eighth inch drill hole needed for air to drain the water out. Any suggestions? Jul 26, 2006
