Eckerd College Marine Science
Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, the marine science program at Eckerd College offers an excellent comprehensive “hands-on” marine science curriculum that is designed to serve as part of a liberal arts education, providing an awareness of the marine environment and its significance to humankind. Eckerd offers a B.S. in Marine Science in any of the following tracks: marine biology, marine chemistry, marine geology, and marine geophysics.

Oregon Coast Community College Aquarium Science Program
Describes a 2-year Associate of Applied Science degree in aquatic animal husbandry offered by Oregon Coast Community College. Outlines curriculum, course descriptions and requirements, tuition and expenses, enrollment instructions, and features profiles of staff, representative students, and industry partners. This undergraduate degree is applicable to career-paths in public aquariums, research institutes, fish hatcheries, aquaculture production facilities, fish farming, aquarium maintenance businesses.

Georgian College, Orillia Campus
Georgian College offers a one of a kind program for marine engine mechanics. The program teaches how to diagnose and service boat engines and marine systems, providing the skills for a lifetime on and near the water. In addition to learning two and four-stroke technology, working on outboard and sterndrive engines, you learn about environmental issues, customer service and business operations. Oregon State University College of Atmospheric Sciences
Located in Corvallis, Oregon, COAS is advancing the frontiers of knowledge of the ocean, atmosphere, and Earth system. COAS research explores the edge-the interfaces between ocean and atmosphere, ocean and ice, land and sea, land and air, and deep ocean and seafloor. Site includes information on faculty, student, current research, admissions, and much more. Education section includes lesson plans and information on the regional National Ocean Sciences Bowl competition.

College of Charleston Grice Marine Laboratory
Undergraduate and graduate programs in marine biology: evolutionary biology, marine biogeography, cellular and molecular biology, benthic ecology, immunology, microbial ecology, phytoplankton ecology, environmental physiology, fish systematics, and invertebrate zoology and other marine sciences. On-line searchable library. Located at Fort Johnson on James Island across Charleston Harbor from the city of Charleston, South Carolina.

Richard Stockton College of New Jersey

Florida State University Department of Oceanography
Located in Tallahassee, Florida, on the campus of FSU, the Department of Oceanography is a research-oriented, graduate-only department within the College of Arts and Sciences. University of Maryland

Maine Maritime Academy-Corning School of Ocean Studies
New England's oldest undergraduate college of marine science offers BS degree programs in Marine Biology and Marine Science, as well as undergraduate or graduate option in Secondary Science teaching. Small classes, excellent facilities, hands-on fieldwork provide preparation for advanced degrees in oceanography and related fields.
